 Alice Cullen Twilight
Action Figure
NECA have recently released a set of four action figures
that tie in with the new Twilight movie, New Moon. One of these
is the Alice Cullen Twilight Action
Figure. Alice is not a main character in the Twilight
series but she does have important parts in the story,
including saving Edward's life at one point. She is a vampire
and part of the Cullen family (or coven of vampires). She is a
sister of Edward and becomes a close friend to Bella in the
series. The friendship of Alice and Bella gets stronger
throughout the books and they see each other a sister by the
end of the tale because of all the experiences they share.
NECA have made plenty of New Moon merchandise, including
these action figures. They make cards, games, toys and even
jewelry. These items are licensed by Summit Entertainment as
official New Moon merchandise and often come with a Summit tag
or printed logo to indicate they are genuine. This is mainly
for collectors purposes. But these action figures also make
great little toys for anyone that wants to play Twilight or
just have them around as ornaments or collectibles.
The Alice Cullen Twilight action figure is a fairly good
representation of the character in the movie and the actor
Ashley Greene who plays Alice in the movies. Alice is described
as small or petite. She has short spiky black hair and likes to
wear black. She's a goth ! (which ties in fine considering that
she is also a vampire). The action figure takes all this into
account. This means that this action figure is slightly shorter
than the other figures.

She wears the obligatory black pants and shirt. Her hair is
short and black. The face is quite a good likeness to the
actual character.
The action figure is 6 inches in height, it has jointed
shoulders so that the arms can move about.
At the moment this action figure retails for $19.38 which
represents a 3% saving (at time of writing).
It would be a cool gift at Christmas time or any other
occasion for that matter. Any fan of the Twilight movies would
love to have this action figure as a present or even a stocking
filler. They would probably want the complete set and I imagine
that Edward and Bella may be the most popular characters. But
Alice is just as important for the set. Check out some more

These figures are ideal for collectors. They also come with
clear plastic packaging so that a keen collector can view the
figures without having to take then out of the wrapper.

Background on Alice Cullen.
Alice Cullen is a vampire as already mentioned. She comes
from Biloxi, Mississippi and is actually 107. She has special
powers over and above her vampire powers. She can see into the
future. Apparently she had this power before she became a
vampire and it has been magnified since she became a vampire.
Her ability to see into the future, often guides the characters
and sets up much of the intricacies of the story.
For instance, she forsees Bella trying to commit suicide but
in fact she is trying to get intouch with Edward. Alice is a
very likable character, she is optimistic, and, for human
readers seems to side with humans over vampires so is bound to
be liked.
Not sure what the vampires think about her though, although
the Volturi cut her a break in the end.
