Details on the Tonner Edward Cullen Doll

I like that the doll is 17 inches high. This means that if you have the Bella doll (which is 15 inches) they will look good together and in proportion. Other than that, here are a few more details on the Edward Cullen doll.

The same standards of design and crafting apply to this doll as to the Bella Swan doll. It is constructed from vinyl and hard plastic that will stand the tests of time. The face is also hand painted but I don't think the likeness of Robert Pattinson is great. The cheekbones and structure of the face a very similar to Pattinson though. He is distinctively pale with the faintest rosy hue about the cheeks. The rest of the face and body is a porcelain white color. His hairdo is made from rooted saran hair and matches the hair color of the actor.

The doll has 15 points of articulation, meaning that it can be set into just about any pose you can think of. You can move all the joints so the wrists, elbows and shoulders can be moved. The neck and waist can swivel. The hips, knees and ankles can also be manipulated.

The doll is dressed in a pretty sharp looking black suit. In fact, just about everything he wears is black, in keeping with his vampire nature maybe (although these vampires aren't scared of sunlight as the vampire legend suggests). He has a black jacket and trousers, a black tie, socks and shoes. His shirt is white. The clothing can be removed quite easily and you can dress him is various combinations of the gear.

There is a base stand so that you can set your Edward doll in a suitable pose. You also get a certificate which is important if you are purchasing the doll as a collectible.

The Tonner company has been making dolls for well over twenty years. They are specifically collectible dolls and not really made as toys. Each doll has some degree of hand crafting that will make it unique. Quite often there is only a limited number of a specific doll released too.
